A day in the life of.
As a Financial Administrator, you will play an important role in managing and enhancing our financial administration. Your responsibilities will include timely processing and payment of purchase invoices, improving internal processes, and assisting in the preparation of reports and analyses. Collaborating closely with the Finance & Payroll team, you will ensure smooth cash flow and contribute to the optimization of our financial procedures.
How you make an impact.
Providing support across various entities within Maqqie, including handling incoming correspondence and assisting in the preparation or submission of VAT returns
Reviewing and processing purchase invoices and preparing payment orders
Assisting in financial reporting, analyzing discrepancies, and supporting periodic reports, including aid in period closures
Identifying bottlenecks and proactively suggesting process improvements, such as the setup of cost centers
Documenting new processes or changes and sharing them with the organization
Assisting the Accounts Receivable team in managing and following up on outstanding sales invoices
Job requirements
What we value in you.
Native Dutch is required; proficiency in English is a plus
Bachelor degree in a relevant field, such as Business Administration, Finance, or Accountancy
Minimum 1-2 years of work experience in a similar role
You understand financial principles and accounting procedures
You’re an analytical thinker with the ability to analyze discrepancies, identify bottlenecks, and suggest process improvements
You have attention to detail accurately processing financial data, detecting errors and ensuring compliance with regulations
Experience with Exact Online is considered an advantage
